Beloved

I had read the first few pages of this many moons ago, and uh.... talk about a hook!

Book Rating: Best of the Best

Oh man, is it possible to dislike a hero in a book? I did. At least for the first little bit, and then he changed his tune and I really liked him. LOL Seriously, he was a complete tool... and then he was awesome. And THAT my friends, is what I found so interesting about this story.

Hatcher has has some interesting plots and this was one of her most unique. I don't want to give away the beginning, but once you start you'll be all, "Whaaaaaaaa????"

You won't want to stop reading....

And then you'll be like, "Oh man, I hate that dude. LEAVE HIM DIANA!" (Diana is the heroine, btw...)

Then after a while you'll go, "Hold on a sec, Diana give this guy a chance."

And pretty soon, it'll be midnight and you won't be able to stop until it's done. Really, I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I've been a Hatcher fan from day one. Not all of her stories are this great, but I must say this series is my favorite of hers by far.

Have you read this series--this book? It was awesome wasn't it?

Happy Reading!
Buy it!

  1. I read this series quite recently and did really enjoy this last book. I always wished there would have more of a reunion between the siblings...

    1. Patty! You are SO right, I completely agree with you--I don't know why I didn't really catch on to that, but there really should have been more of a reunion especially since we've devoted three books to these people, seeing them all happy together at the end would have made it all the more awesome!

  2. Oh, you're making me jealous. I read this one's back cover blurb putting it in the index and straight put it on my wishlist, and then when the whole series went on sale, I bought them......and I feel like I should start at the beginning, which means I have to read 2 books first before I get to it, and right now I can't get hooked on a series!!! Two more weeks! But glad to know you think it was grand, looking forward to it!

    1. Hey Melissa! (I love your comments!!) It's so hard when there are so many books to read and no time?!?!? Wouldn't it be fun to have a week where all you could do is read and attack that TBR pile?! LOL I'd love to know what you think of this series when you are done. HUGS!!!

  3. I really enjoyed the first two in the series but didn't connect to the characters in the last book at all. I think the vibe was different and the flashbacks really broke up the pacing for me. Glad you loved it though! :)

    1. Hey Heidi! I've had that happen with books lots of times. Isn't it interesting how certain books hit readers in different ways? I always love seeing you drop by, Heidi, thank you!

  4. For some reason, I was just the opposite - - I couldn't get into the first book (Belonging) - - but I loved Betrayal and the best of the three to me was this book - Beloved - - and for the same reasons you pointed out Amber. The book opens with an immediate BANG - - a very unusual plot - - with the eventual hero starting out as Mr. Nasty - - but slowly becomes Mr. "Second Chance" - - and it is a story that has well developed characters. I too would have liked for there to be a reunion of all the siblings - - but who knows - - maybe Robin will gift us with a Book 4 in this series - - maybe??? Good review Amber - looking forward to the next one!!
