A Noble Groom

When you read a book what do you remember most--the story or the characters?

That's right. The characters.

Characters move a story--they are the reason we keep on reading. If the characters aren't good we don't care to see what happens to them no matter how interesting the story might be.

Carl and Annalisa will keep you turning pages long into the night, I can guarantee you that.

Book Rating: Best of the Best

Why in heaven's name do people watch movies when there are books like this in the world? I mean really?!

Carl Richards is a leading man like no other. He is almost too good to be real!!! I loved his character in so many ways! When Carl comes to a small town in Michigan to escape his past, he is surprised to find this place could hold the keys to his future.

Annalisa Werner doesn't believe in fairytales no matter how many times she tells them to her sweet daughter Gretchen. She is convinced true love doesn't exist--especially in marriage--until she meets Carl.

The romantic tension is gripping! And when I say gripping, I mean you will grip your book until your knuckles turn white. Oh man, it does my DHH (drama-hungry-heart) good! Great passion, great action, great villain and even an awesome surprise at the end!!

Jody always delivers on Christian message, historical accuracy and well-developed plot.

Ladies, ladies, ladies. This book is a keeper!! I mean if nothing else, the cover will surely make you want to read it, am I right? *wink*

If you have read it, please let me know what you thought and which parts were your favorite! (I liked the beginning, the middle and the end.) *teehee*

The end. *double wink*

An Heiress at Heart

Great characters.
Great plot.
Great setting.
Great twists.
Great story.
Nuff said!

Book Rating: Up All Night'er

Oh wow! All you Klassen fans out there, better find yourself a copy of this little ol' book, because Jennifer Delamere has crafted a magnificent story you won't want to miss!

Talk about a fabulous plot! I got sucked in by all the great twists and turns that this story took from chapter one. The romance begins right away, and who can't like that?! I'm always looking for those stories where the chemistry between the characters is immediate and this book does not disappoint!

Oh, golly, I don't even know where to start! Lizzie Poole must go to England to fulfill the dying wish of her dearest friend--little does she know how it will change her life forever!

I really don't want to give too much away...if I tell you one thing, then I'll be tempted to tell you another and the secrets in this story are just too great, I can't give them away.

Lizzie is a sweet wonderful leading lady, and Geoffrey is a WONDERFUL leading man! The romantic tension between them will keep you on the edge of your seat, not to mention the great romantic settings that Delamere paints! I loved it all!

The Christian element of the book is very sweet, and touching as well, and not to be overlooked.

If you have already devoured this book, let me know what you thought about it! And if you haven't, I highly recommend!!

Forsaken Dreams

Come one, come all, on a voyage to Brazil!!

Book Rating: Up all Night'er

I loved this story! This book's got all the drama I want/need/crave and more! And I have to wait until WHEN for the next one?!

Now, I don't know the first thing about ships. Can't tell you the difference between port and starboard. I have no idea what larboard is. So, if you're like me (and please tell me you are because I can't be the only one in the world that doesn't know it...right?!?!?) you'll read this book and those words will slip right by and you'll think, "I really oughtta look that up." BUT, you likely won't (I never did) AND it won't hurt your enjoyment of this story one bit!!! Although it will pique your interest in all things maritime. *big grin*

Eliza Crawford wants to leave her tainted past behind...along with the majority of people sailing to Brazil on the New Hope. She is ashamed about her life's choices and fears her actions will be discovered...and once they are only the worst can happen!

Blake Wallace is bewitched by the beautiful widow the minute she comes aboard, but once he finds out what she's done he can never forgive her and it breaks Eliza's already wounded heart. That is until she learns to trust in God and he learns to forgive.

The romance between Eliza and Blake is fabulous--tension, tension, tension! Also, you will be able to tell from the many characters in this story that two more books are on their way! BIG CHEER! I have a feeling there will be a book about James and Angeline and I cannot wait for that--they were my favorites. *wink*

The spiritual nature of all Tyndall's books are uplifting, thought provoking and touching. The messages in this novel brought tears to my eyes. SO good!

This book is available NOW!!! Don't wait...I beg of you. Get a copy!!!

(PS larboard means: left-hand side of the ship. Just in case you were curious.)

Though My Heart is Torn

Oh.

My.

STARS!!

Amazing.

Book Rating: Best of the Best

For those of you who have read BE STILL MY SOUL, your anguished wait for the second book in the series is over...and your even more agonizing wait for the third book is about to begin!

The romantic tension in this book will have you near to ripping those precious hairs from your even more precious head! Fabulous and heart wrenching at the same time! Curious about the plot? Here's the drama in a nut shell:

Lonnie and Gideon are happily married and enjoying their darling son when they get terrifying news--Gideon is already married. Or so this Cassie Allan claims...

iiiirrrrkkkkk  Say WHAT?!

Yep, you read that right. And boy, oh, boy that is where all the excitement happens. Poor Lonnie! Poor Gideon!! Even poor Cassie!!! You might be tempted to storm your way through this book to satisfy your need to know what happens, but let me caution you. Joanne's writing is so beautiful you will miss out on her lovely style and you won't want to do that, believe me!

Lastly, when you get to the last page, this is what you will do: you'll flip frantically to see if perhaps you have missed some pages; you'll start sweating and might even start mumbling to yourself; your mouth will go dry and your fingers will shake. Why you ask!? Well, you'll just have to read it to find out. *menacing laugh*

I enjoyed every page of this book, and I know you will too!!

This book comes out in April, everyone, so please go get yourself a little 'ol copy when you can!
