Hello to my fellow HCR readers!!

Here are the answers to my "first sentence" blog post from a few weeks ago.

Did you get any of them right? :) All of these books are on my "keeper" shelf. I hope you've read all of these. If you haven't, might I suggest you get started?! *wink*

After two years, they'd finally cut him loose.

This street is impassable, not even Jackassable.

His name was Judas.

"This is madness."

"Half-hidden beneath the bare-limbed canopy of a dogwood tree, the grave digger kept a reverent distance..."

"A nightmare seized him from sleep, turned around his throat, and filled his mouth so full he could not cry out."

  1. Cool! To Win Her Heart is my favorite from Karen Witemeyer (Short-Straw Bride is a close second). Starting her newest book today!

    1. Let me know what you think of it when you're done, Heidi!

  2. Oh my goodness - - I've read all of these but had forgotten the opening line in all except Tamara Leigh and Tamera Alexander books. You've got some winners listed here. Have you read Tamara Leigh's most recent release - "Lady of Conquest"? - - Oh sooooo excellent!!! I've got Tamera Alexander's recent release - "To Win Her Favor" on my TBR list - - and I just started Deeanne Gist's "Tiffany Girl" today.

    1. Hi Pam!!!! Yes, I just finished Lady of Conquest and I thought it was phenomenal. Loved it! I also have To Win Her Favor on my list as well and I plan to start that soon!! Let me know what you think of Tiffany Girl. I LOVE Gist!
I hope you have a marvelous week, Pam! So wonderful to have you comment--as always!--thank you! :)
